Based on the CAD data the component is initially prepared for additive manufacturing. In a post processor the technology parameters are defined, the position of the element in the building space fixed and the imaging layers generated.

Parts are subsequently build layer by layer on the selected production equipment.

Subsequently the surplus powder is removed from the components, which are separated from the building platform outside the engine. After removing the supporting structure, the real finishing occurs.
